No, one sees it, the careful control he has over it. Because when you are weak they will find and destroy you, when you are wounded, you are easier to pick off.

But alone… alone it grows. The deafening silence seems to call to it, the pain deep and jagged this gaping wound invisible to them. It tears at him in the quiet, it make him hard, makes cold, makes him hate.

Why was he born to this pain?

Falling to his knees, he clutches the source of his agony, his torture. Wave after wave of thoughts hit him like shrapnel he can’t doge from it, can’t hide from it.

Trapt in his own personal hell.
